Tatum's Stitches

Sad Tatum. On June 23rd poor Tatum recked her bike and cut her knee on pedal. She cut her knee all the way to the bone and had to get three layers of stitches, 16 stitches total. She said it was the worst day of her life.

4th of July

Carl went to an archery tournament at Sunrise so most of the weekend he wasn't with us but we still had a lot of fun. Most of my family came up and we got up early Friday morning and went to the parade. Madison was so funny we tell her all the time that she is not supposed to walk on the road because she can get hit by a car and then at the parade we were telling her go in the road and get the candy. She was so confused and the parade was half over before so would go get candy. Ashlee was dragging her out there and Maddy was trying to drag her feet behind to keep the on the curb. Despite her fear of the road she had so much fun and all weekend she kept asking if we could go back to the parade. Friday after the parade poor Tatum got a really bad bladder infection so we had to call the doctor at home so he could call in a prescription. Tatum had a really miserable night so we didn't go to the fireworks that night and Madison was disappointed. Then on Saturday night we went to Snowflakes firework display and sat at the park right under the fireworks and someone gave the glow necklaces so they had a blast. It was a fun weekend.
